Hi There Ducati 998S Testastretta It was a work over of 2.5 days trying to make everything detailed... The panels were all removed with the exception of the deposit which was only partially. The state of this colossus was very good just being "marked" by the (many) kms of track days. After well washed and degreased with sonax shampoo and Zaino Z7 Show car wash, that´s how it looked. All panels were cleaned with acrysol and degreasers, decontaminated and then polished. The step of polishing had basically 2 phases, cutting and polishing with polishes by Menzerna and Sonax, the photos of the cut part. Before: After: Here all polished panels, sealed with Z2 Pro x 2 and Z8 to end (the bottom was sealed with 4star UPPx2) The Bike has been the target of numerous care, and the products used to the normal rubber, chromes, etc.. Here in the phase of the assembly, I hope you enjoy the animation: D Already ready to be delivered to the customer. And now pictures in the sun The effect of Zaino is fantastic leaving something almost unreal, but personally I am a ... Nubaluva The rims were sealed with Sonax Rim Sealant. All the metal parts have undergone decontamination, polishing and Z2 PRox2 + Z8. The escapes were polished with CG Metal Shine. Regards
Excellent Work:thumb: Quick question, How different is it detailing a Bike compared to a car. And how hard is it to take a apart the body like that?
Beauty!!! That seems like a lot of liability in messing something up by taking it all apart. Great Job. I've never detailed an MC before, looks like a lot of tough tiny little spaces.
That is very impressive, thanks for the detailing write up! Is that a Morris Minor in the background?
