Hi There Its a Seat Leon Cupra TDI from late 2001, with 90000 miles on it and no detail care whatsoever The usual swirls and lifeless paint, besides some scratches The back with the Sebrig pipe :thumb: The interior was in good shape, but the seats were very stained and the leather started to cry for help After the first inspection, its time to see the defects The side and hood :doublesho After this cupra ( i had some seat and cupras ) i realize that seat paint its a much softer than vw or audi. With just the pc i could get almost the defects without much trouble, i used the makita only on the hood ( once ). Take a look some during pics , i used the PC with yellow cut pad with PG, Polish pad with IP and finish it with Final FInish ( PO85RD ), blue pad. After a good wash and clay session Wider view Some dry sanding with 4000 fartools for removing some light scractches After dry sanding I used a small Menzerna orange pad And the after , but it needed some more work around Not perfect but it was improved around the edges Ready for delivery and waiting for the owner next day, after 16 hours of work The exterior took 1Z Balsam for rubber and plastics, before that 1Z Universal Cleaner for cleaning. The LSP was ocw, but before that i used Factory Sealant from Chemical Guys apresentado, youcan read the test here Car Premium More after pics and i will comment along them Rims cleaned with 1Z Wheel Cleaner, washed , polished by hand with 1z PP and sealed with PB WS , very nice the Tora All chrome cleaned with 1z Universal cleaner, and polished with 1Z Chrome The front fender was very marked More reflexes The top Great product the Factory Sealant, very shinny and deep Now with OCW after some time. It turned the cupra even better The sun directly on the door Now some dark reflexes And a spot of sun The interior was vaccumed , cleaned with APC and conditioned with PB Natural Look The Leather conditioned with 4 Star ULC , and the seats cleaned with 1Z Upholstery. Regards
Loving the turn around on all of the cars? Do you Detail as a living, or just a hobby, because this is great. Still can't believe you us a PC for everything. You should look into the Flex or Rotary to cut down on time.:thumb:
Vehicle looks great, those were some nasty swirls you were up against. Just curious, you didn't happen to gauge the paint did you? I'm just curious that's all. Looks like you got a nice place to detail too. Thank you for sharing.
I was wondering the same things as vrwm and Nica. Do you do this for a living? Because it is obviuos you put a great deal of time into your details. Additionally, what is that place where you are doing your details? It looks awesome!
I use a PTG all the time, i even show that in my site. CAR DETAIL Yes, im a full time Detailer since june 2007, untill then i was detailing at weekends and hollidays.
