My friend just bought a Lancer, cool little car. I saw this color at the dealership and it has got a great look to it.

If this is a rubber/plastic/etc., bumper and I think it is, be sure that the painter puts in the right amount of "flex agent" in with the paint. This will help the paint to "give" somewhat when hit or pushed in and not break off like brittle paint would. You mentioned the painter already painted this area before ? If so, ask him why he didnt put in the flex agent. This might have prevented the paint chipping off so easily when the bumper was accidently pushed in ..
Your detail turned out great ! Congratulations !!

The graphite grey is a really cool color under sunlight - I actually detailed a GG a few weeks ago and Menzerna P087MC Micro Polish really made the metallic/pearl effect explode...so if that polish isn't in your arsenal yet, it needs to be :)
