Did you apply SV Cleaner Fluid before mystery?
If the Wax Sticks/hard to remove..try moist your SV Towl with Quick Finish and remove it,it would help..
And your rain may be bit acid..to wear off all the Wax

Let me know.if you need more info

I have SV Smargd. I've had it haze on me a couple times.

I'm fully of the opinion, that in order to properly apply these high end waxes, it's a multi day process. You have to do it right for the best restults.

As much as we'd like it to be a quick on/off process, it's not. The waxes are finickey and require a lot of attention to detail...

I've tried to do it quick... didn't work.

    IMHO of course. :)

its sweating for sure. i personally never had a problem like this with SV though. although i always treat the paint with cleaner fluid, then a couple layers of jetseal109 first too. if i can, i'll pull the car out in the sun with the wax on for like ten or fifteen minutes as well, then pull it back in the garage and buff it off.

plus, I waited the 24 hours in between coats, I did the thin coats by foam applicator, and I also did the cold water wipe down after each coat was removed AND after 24 hours after the 2nd letting it outgas....this stuff just amazes me...can't get it right and I follow every detail of application to the T:doh:

Have you tried a pre-wax chemical cleaner, as it may be silicone, oils or other residue on the paint?

I'm going to say it the weather in your area, I have had hazing but not to the extent it would get me this upset.

However I noticed you said you apply cleaner fluid before you apply your sv waxes.

so if you do you know your removing the wax on the car as well.

it just doesn't make sense to me... I'll see if swissvax has anything to say.

I'm a long time lurker but felt the need to contribute after reading this post.

I'm not sure about your climate but I think that it is the heat and humidity that causes the bad hazing.

I live in Singapore (high heat and high humdity) and get this all the time on my black car with some waxes namely SV Concorso, Colly 915, Dodo SN. The hazing does not happen on a silver car with the above waxes, nor does it occur with waxes such as CK CMW.

I've talked to the local SV sole distributor and he confirmed that it can be a problem especially on black cars in our climate due to the overloading of oils from the wax and cleaner fluid + heat from a black car + humidity. He gave me some tips to overcome this problem and the findings I have from my own experience are:

    1. Use cleaner fluid as sparingly as possible and spread thinly on a low speed via a DA.

    2. Buff off cleaner fluid residue thoroughly and follow up with another buff using a wet microfiber.

    3. Do not overload the foam applicator with wax and apply the wax as thinly as possible. Work in smaller sections using less wax from the tub.

    4. I start waxing the car for the section that I do not mind hazing (near the bottom of the car). For some reason, the first section I wax with a freshly loaded applicator is almost always the one that has the worst hazing. I always leave the hood, roof, trunk (the sections facing the sky) for last.

    5. I dry buff the wax off and do another buff with cold distilled water.

    6. Put the car out in the sun to force any hazing to occur. You should expect some very slight hazing but you can buff this off later with a QD.

Hope that helps and good luck! :)
