I just found your site.. A lot of great info.

Sorry to start a new thread about a talked about product, but I didn't know if you guys wanted a thread from over a year ago being brought back to life. lol

I'm looking to buy some of the CG products, but I'm not sure if I would be wasting my money or not. I already have P21s 100%, Wolfgang line, Souveran, Fuzion, Optimum line, Collinite 915, 476s, 845 and the Clearkote line. I'm happy with all of these products, but like many of you I like to try something new.

Would I be able to tell much of a difference from the products above if I purchased the pro-polish, EZ Creme, jetseal109, and Pete's 53. and is this overkill?? It's for a black metallic car in great condition.

Also, what QD would you recommend with the CG's product line. I have everything from 425, OID, Z-6, FC&S, Quik shine, among a few others. Do I need their pro detailer QD?

For my wash I normally use ONR, or DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss. I've read about the citrus wash & gloss, & the citrus wash daily, but not sure which one to try. I guess with ONR there's added gloss after washing already. I also have gold class, and DG wash.

I figured I would ask the questions "here" before I spent a bunch of money. Thank you for the help.

Mate, the LSP is so very dependent on how nicely the paint is polished. Don't look at CG for their polishing products. However, from a LSP standpoint, EZ Creme, Jetseal 109 topped with Pete's '53 is a stellar triplet that many on this forum have "surpassed" for higher end products. Me, I still love it and I still use it.

If you're happy with your products, I'd stick with them. I do think you'd be happy with EZ Creme Glaze if you dont already have CK RMG.

I wouldnt get their QDs with the quality ones you already have...they are good dont get me wrong, but i dont think you would improve much if at all. 50/50 is a great wax, but im a big believer that there isnt a huge difference in one LSP from the other..i look at other properties like ease of app and removal, slickness, etc....those are whats important to me. The look will vary only slightly. I dont care much about durability because my products never have a chance to die. Personally i love Citrus wash clear, better than CWG...and another personal preference is to skip JS109, i feel there are just as good of products in DG105, Acrylic Jett that are better priced and less hyped, but once again this is just my opinion, many would disagree and agree.

Cooter, yeah, I have VMG,and RMG. I just used both of them and topped it with CMW. The look was great. Like I said above I'm always looking for the next wax, but to be honest after using so many they are starting to all look a like.. If you know what I mean.

I started out wanting to try the Pete's 53 because it was said it had some of the same ingredients as the Zymol Estate Glazes. Since I have RMG, I guess Pete's 53 would look ok over it. Is it similar to EZ creme glaze?

I also have the Wolfgang glaze and sealant, would this combo look like the CG's Ez Creme glaze, and Jetseal109?? With all of these combos I don't know what works and what doesn't. lol

JBell, they have a combo of Pete's 53 and Jetseal. I'm just wondering if my wolfgang combo would just as well without buying some of the same stuff with different names?

The combo you listed is pretty much unbeatable, in my opinion. Like the rest of us, you have too many LSP's and products already, what's a few more? lol

LOL. Spyral, that's what I keep telling myself. Now that I'm a couple of grand in with detailing equipment and products there has to be a stopping point. Or at least a slowing down point. LOL. I know there's no way I'll use up what I have. I'm sure many of you guys are in the same boat.

Do you guys think I Would get similar result using Pete's 53, or even 50/50 with VMG,RMG,YMG, vs the EZ Creme glaze? Or could I substitute jetseal 109 with Wolfgang sealant, or is a sealant even needed? This would save me a bit of money if I don't have to use the whole CG line up. Of course if it's recommended I don't mind buying it. Especially if it goes with it.

I read and heard a lot of great things about the EZ Creme - JS 109 - Pete's 53 (or 50/50) triplet.

    I use CG's wash n clear: excellent.

I just used the CG lineup - EZ Creme - 109- 50/50 and the results were staggering on a car prepped with Menz 106 and 85RD. I almost cried it was so beautiful..lol

LSP is forever on a debate on which is easier to use, lasting, beads and looks better. I like CG QD but you already have a decent range which i doubt it will make any improvement. You might want to consider trading some CG items instead.

Here's what I'm thinking about ordering & trying today.

    1. Pro Polish- Is this a good pre-wax product, and is it recommended or even needed?
    2. EZ Creme Glaze
    3. Combo PKG of Jetseal109 & Pete's 53

    4. Citrus wash & clear (1 gallon)

As many of you've already said I have enough quality QD's so I don't need anymore.

    Does this order sound ok?

Thanks for the help guys. :thumb:

I worked with the Pro-Polish once, it seemed to have a slightly longer work time than 106FA or 85RD, but once it finished down, it did so very well!

I have a sample waiting of either Rocket Polish or Pro-Polish whenever I order from CG, Paul is awesome!

If I were to go with EZ Creme Glaze, Jetseal109 & Pete's 53 what would be a good "paint cleaner" that would work best with this combo. If I didn't buy the pro polish.

I guess I'm NOW down to what to start off with first before the Glaze, jetseal and Pete's. Would DG 105 be ok, or P21S paint cleaner.

This is what I have. P21S PC, Wolfgang total swirl remover by Menzerna, Z-AIO, poliseal, and Cleakote's moose wax "the paint cleaner".

Almost off of subject here, but I was under the impression that you sealed first, then glazed, then waxed. Am I wrong? What is it about the ez creme that goes against alot of what I have read, now mind you this is in other forums, but please set me straight about the sealant and glaze steps.

Ez creme glaze is not a traditional oil based glaze like say megs #7. Its acrylic/polymer based so it can be used under sealants.

It doesn't have much filling ability but it will clean the paint slightly and add gloss.

Danase wet glaze is the equivalent except it has no cleaners which is why it can be used on top and sandwiched between anything.

Ez creme may remove some of the underlying sealant.

    I love that stuff though.
