I finally tried out my Majestic Solutions Green Stuff (1:3) on some tires it was ho hum. It did not seem to do anything stellar compared to Meg's (1:4) . Given the price, I cannot really complain but after I finished I needed to clean up my over priced Daytona tire brush so I got out the MS GS on the brake dust/grease on the bristles. It did squat. I was bummed. I went back to the detailing cabinet and got out my Optimum Power Clean and in a few squirts it was restored to that two color bristle look. I will try it again at full strength next time to see if it has any bite. I suspect this is sold already diluted.
Majestic Solutions super green stuff blows Megs APC away. MS SGS at 3:1 ratio is stronger then Megs APC straight...I don't have much of Optimum power clean to compare it to. Keep it mind that it's a liquid, and it will run...You can add 1-2 oz of CG CWC in a bottle of MS SGS mixture to "gel"it up a bit...
I still have my sample of MS SGS from Supercharged I have not tried it yet. Zep Citrus (thanks Richie) has been great, used it on wheels, tires, engines and door jams, dilutions 5:1 and 8:1 (door jams). I really want to try OPC but $35 a gallon has steered me in other directions
MS SGS is very powerfull cleaning dirty vechicles. Try is in a foam cannon (2-3 oz), you will be amazed what it can strip...
Shoulda let me know. I'm down the street, well I-77 that is. I'm running low on it now and have 32oz. of Meg's APC+ to try out. So far the OPC has not let me down with anything I've used it on. Expensive it is though...
Dude not sure what you are doing but I have yet to find anything that cleans like SGS. Like Supercharged said it cleans better at 3:1 better than Megs APC does straight. I have used a ton of APC's although I haven't tried Power Clean but nothing has compared to SGS. It is not sold diluted.
PowerClean definitely has a place, but it's not a "use on every car" APC. I love it for cupholders, delicate or expensive interiors, and what really sells it for me is on tires. You can use your concoction of choice and then follow with PowerClean to see what you have been leaving. For me, it's my "special needs" APC.
BTW, I bought a quart of it. I am wondering if the quart size is diluted since it does not say "Super" green stuff but just Green stuff. I will call Majestic Solutions today -- if they will only answer the phone. I am looking for a good affordable clener for tires. I have enough general purpose APC's to do light cleaning such as interiors, etc.
Well, for those of you who are happy with SGS, wait till you try Power Prep. That stuff will clean freaking anything. I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with this suggestion. If anyone remembers that red M5 that JL and I tag teamed on, the outer lips of all four wheels were stained by something. We're nearly certain it was caused by the owner using that Bleche-White stuff.
