I had a 911 scheduled for a detail but it broke down on the way so I decided to give some TLC to my personal car. After a BRUTAL Chicago winter my M3 came out looking pretty good with minimal marring from the salt and snow. My recommendation to clients is to put on a good coat of wax and sealant in the fall with reapplication mid-winter and then wash the car only once or twice during the winter if they want the paint to come out with minimal damage come spring time. Its counterintuitive but works. My car had minimal marring and needed to be hit with a White LLC and 106FF with an Orange LLC and SIP in problem areas.

Looks great. With my clay bars, I cut them into four pieces so if I drop one, I don't waste the whole bar. You just have to flatten it out a bit more as its smaller. I find the smaller piece easier to handle as well.
