If it truly is pH neutral, it shouldn't strip wax right?

I have always wondered this as well. Is P21s gel supposed to be used on a weekly basis or more of a monthly basis when you are ready to apply more sealant? Then just used a soap/water solution to clean the wheels for your weekly wash.

Yes, this product has the capacity to remove waxes, sealants, etc.

I believe it can remove sealants and waxes. Once you seal the wheels, it shouldn't take more than soap, water, and some wheels brushes to clean them. I use the P21S during the wash before I reseal the wheels only.

yes over time and depending on how much you use and how badly your brake dust and dirt accumulation is it will remove wax/sealants over time.

I think you'll find t is slightly alkaline (as suggested pH 7.0 will not clean) P21S Wheel Cleaner is actually pH 'controlled' as opposed to pH neutral

P21S is one of the safest products to clean rims but like it was mentioned it will remove protection on rims, thing is it's so much fun to use it's so hard for me to not use it..well now I don't use it as much because I just steam rims now :thumb:

does wheel wax actualy works? (which one would be good) i think eagle1 or maguairs introduced wheel wax in past and then took it off for some reason.

i want to get some for my wheels couse i think my clear coat is going away, so want something to good wash and then seal so its not as hard to wash everytime

I've never bought into a dedicated was/sealant for rims.... seems like a bunch of phoeey to me...

Pick a durable sealant/wax that you like for your paint and sticj to that.... I really like Colli 845 for rims.. I also use Rejex and even DG 501 for rims.....

currently testing BH Auto Balm vs SV Autobahn on my wheels. I checked my tire pressures after a week and too the opportunity to do a finger swipe test, no water, soap, etc. The brake just came off equally as easy but the SV wheel felt just that tiny bit slicker. Whether or not that was due to it being the 2nd one swiped, I'm not sure.

Hopefully I'll remember to comment after actually trying to wash them.

Yes it will strip wheel wax. But when your wheels are waxed, it is easy to maintain them (if you used a good one). My favorite wheel wax is Swissvax Autobahn. If you do a test with only putting it on one front wheel and nothing on the other, you will be amazed. It actually makes a huge visual difference to the color of the wheel too. I love the stuff.
