Is there a way? Am I going to be the first to actually experiment with it? I put some on my BMW wheels and trim and loved it! However, I am not a fan of the thickness at all. I want to be able to spray it on, or at least rub it on a little easier. What do you guys think? ISA, just water? No way? I'm thinking I'm going to go home tonight and waste some product... :doh:
VRG is my favorite exterior tire and trim product. I always dilute it 1:1 with plain water and use with a spray bottle.:thumb:
I tried to dulite it once and found at 1:1 it looked a lot like CG silk shine so I just use that now since I already had a gallon of it. I love silk shine on the interior after an apc wipe down. But VRP is still in my collection for when I really want that supper wet looking tire!!!!!
I guess that settles it. I'll waste a couple ounces trying it. It worked well on my trim but rubbing it into my tires that have so much detail took forever. I don't have time to 'detail' my tires, let alone customer's tires. Maybe next time I'll shoot for Silk Shine Dressing instead!
1:1 works! It dilutes fine, and it looks even better! My tires looked creat and it was a ton easier to rub it into the little details. This means that you could make 2 gallons of tire/trim dressing for $25 bucks!
It does spray a lot better cut at one to one. It is a little less glossy. Think new tire. - I do know that it sprays much better and leaves a better finish out of a paint gun then silk shine does.
