Re-applying wax

hi everyone,

I detailed my car 2 months ago. I want to re-apply the wax(SV concorso). Do i just wash the car and put on the cleaner fluid, Jet seal and Concorso?
Or just Jet seal and concorso without cleaner fluid?

What has the paint been through the last two months?

 

i would go with a mild clay over the entire surface for starters and go from there

 

just daily drive!
But i do notice the wax is going away everytime i washed the car!

 

Claying is always a good idea especially after winter. It will only take a little bit of time but you know your paint will be clean. I would clay, cleaner fluid, jetseal and SW. If it was the summer, I would just top up the wax as you don't want to put Jetseal over top of the wax.

 

how about without cleaner fluid? is it a good solution?

 

my vote is clay, cleaner fluid, concorso...i would leave out the jetseal because of *possible* bonding issues with JS109 because of the cleaner fluid

 

If its Swisswax cleaner fluid, than maybe someone can chime in with their experience. I've never used it but would think that, as J Bell said, you could probably skip the cleaner fluid and everything will be alright.

Heck, I wouldn't use CF just for the fact that it STINKS like wet cardboard that was in a cedar chest.:shrug:
