Not sure where this actually belongs. But what are you guys using now? I think I have a can or 2 left, but after that I am goign to be looking for a replacement. :shakehead: An aerosol product would be best, as I think they do a better job in the engine bay.
This sucks cause In and Out was such a great product. I have no idea what I;m gonna use but I heard Stoner's was good.
Trim Shine is awesome. I order it by the case from trimeshine.com If you order a case, you get free shipping as well. Cheaper than buying it from the parts stores.
I bought almost 10 cans from DD after i heard, IAO was being taken off the market. Its a great product. I use it now sparingly. A friend of mine bought about 2 cases worth...hes stock piled. I may try the CG fade to black, see how well that works. if its on par with IAO, then i'll be stock piling that stuff up also...before the EPA gets wind of it...lol
at work we get something called Auto Shine in a white and gray can. Not sure who makes it but Im sure its a cheap alternative. Looks good and lasts. I also just tried AM xp renew it, and that seemed decent, not gooey like black wow, although BW is good.
So Me and my buddies tested out some of the CG Fade to Black spray. First thing we noticed was the scent. It smelled like carb cleaner for RC cars. And the spray is heavy so it drips, where as in and out spray is more controlled and dries quickly. you need to chase fade to black with a towel to get an even coat. I dont think In and Out can be replaced :sorry:
Just got come CG stuff, ill be trying it out this weekend. I was able to find 4 cans of In n Out at a retailer. Ill be keeping that for my car. :
I found this on google... it was posted by Dale at Adam's. That really sucks, I hate the environment. I used up my last can on rubber floor mats too haha.
Duragloss Ultimate Detail is a aerosol detail spray that is pretty nice. I use it on engines sometimes and on some plastic bumpers. Maybe check it out. I don't think it is too oily.
