This was a treat one of my first customers sold his 2002 911 Turbo a couple years ago, the silver one that was posted before, he missed it so much he picked up another 2003 I believe white 996 Turbo added many mods included the 997 Seats, Techart Front Bumper, GT2 Wing, Techart wheels and more... I believe this is a Protomotive 600 kit.

Below are the tools and products used:

    Exterior:
    Adam's Car Wash
Uber Blue Clay Bar and Optimum Instant Detail Spray and Gloss Enhancer for clay lube
    The Uber Menzerna PO203S/PO85RD Kit
    Menzerna Top Inspection
    Lusso Oro

    Wheels and Tires
    Uber Wheel/Tire/Wheel Well Kit

    Interior and Glass
    Uber Interior Kit

    Engine: (sorry no engine shots)
    P21S Total Autowash
Black Wow (on covers and plastics)
Einszett Vinyl and Rubber Care (rubber etc)

    Tools:
    Infratech 5300
    Makita 9227 Hi Speed Rotary
    The Uber Foam Pads (5.5inch)
    Tons of "Uber" Microfiber Towels
    Uber Drying Towels

Cam Spray 1500A with Cam Spray Foam Gun
    Infratech CM5300

    Sorry no wash/clay picks.

After the wash/clay we measured the paint, it was about 85-89 microns all around

We proceeded with caution as this was quite low in my findings with 996's.
We masked with 3M masking tape

Rushed for time we didn't have much of the polishing stage either the car was lightly swirled really hard to pick up with the camera.

nice job phil. love that car.

the subie is looking preeeettty dirty by the way :giggle:. hope you're enjoying it nonetheless.

PS: i just used the Lusso Oro for the first time recently on a couple details for friends and is it me or is it a little "difficult" to buff off? maybe i just left it on for too long, but i dont think it was any amount of time that was out of the ordinary...

Nice work Phil! Been a while since I've seen a show and shine with you using Lusso. I know it's a great car, but I just can't get excited over the 996. :thumb:

you know as well as I do that the 911 engines are the most boring things to look at, this one looks like stock except its got red samcos hoses : )

its a little like the Zxmol waxes you have to apply a small section then remove or it gets difficult to remove. The directions I believe state to remove within a minute. :thumb:

    Nice!

I really like the Lusso. I just used it for the first time in a long while.

I normally do one panel at a time. Not difficult to buff off then.

Haha... Dan wax off :lol2: sorry, thought it was funny

Hey Phil, I see you use OID for clay lube. Do you use it at the regular dilution? Or do you dilute it more for clay lube?

Great looking vehicle, not a big fan of the white colour but I'm sure standing next to it is a different story.

That front bumper looks odd, in a good way though :thumb:
