I currently have my mufflers off of my car and want to polish them. There are two and they are large rectangles approximately 18" wide x 12" tall x 4" deep so there is a lot of surface area. They don't need to be perfect because they tuck up inside the rear bumper/fender and are hidden by heat shields. So I am looking for a cheap metal polish for stainless that does a decent job. it doesn't have to be top notch stuff. Thanks
Eagle one...Nevr-Dull...@4.99...Works like a charm and you can get it at any local Auto store...:thumb:
And now for something completely different... Wenol Great stuff. Claims to leave a protective coating behind, which I think actually works - since I've started using this stuff, my exhaust stays nice looking for much longer than it did with regular old Mother's metal polish. I actually bought mine at Williams-Sonoma. It's usually over by the stainless steel cookware. $10/tube, no shipping.
last week i asked for a metal polish recommendation and phil@detailersdomain put some pictures of a exhaust polished with Adams Metal Polish 1 + 2. i am still trying to decide what product i'll buy ;\ http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f15/need-metal-polish-recommendation-8361.html
Thanks everyone! I already have some 1z but wanted some el cheapo stuff that actually worked. I swung by Wal-Mart last night and found Nevr-Dull for $3.77
