I haven't seen this truck in about three years since I stopped doing wash and vac packages. The owner decided to get it detailed instead of replacing it.

Engine cleaned with AG Powermax3 and dressed with AG Vinyl & Rubber Care
All jambs cleaned with AG Powermax3
All inner fenders and lower body panels presoaked with AG Powermax3 and then the whole truck was foamed with straight Powermax3 with a shot of Duragloss soap
Truck washed with BH soap today. One TEASPOON per bucket of water. Awesome.
Tires scrubbed down with AG Custom Wheel Cleaner. It will pull more dirt out of the tires than ARO. Wheels got 50/50 acid cleaner-one wheel at a time. As you'll see, even that didn't do much.
Tires dressed with Gloss-it tire dressing
Polished with a combination of Gloss-it pads, backing plates and Gloss-it polishes.
Lsp was Gloss-itGloss Activator and Gloss Finish x2
Interior glass got AG Fast Glass while the exteriors got AG Glass Polish. Windshield got Rain Science Glass Cleaner and Repellant
Leather was cleaned and conditioned with Lexol

    Total time - 22 Hours

Oh crap - I knew I should have gone out and washed it earlier.

Foam wonderful foam - Straight Powermax3 and a shot of Duragloss shampoo for suds.

Todays soap was from BH. Excellent soap. Very wet foam with good lubricity.

The owner uses a vinyl table cloth to cover the rear area to keep it clean. The downside is the felt backing all stuck to the carpet.

Time to polish. Started with a GI Backing Plate with a 4" GI pad with Evolution polish.

I was playing with some different pad / polish combos on the hood. The GI Extreme Cut with the GI Cutting
pad made quick work of the imperfections and left the paint almost LSP ready. This combo was used on
most areas followed up with GI Polishing pad with the GI Finishing Polish Beta1. Simply beautiful.

The paint was in very bad condition so it was decided to get it at least 85 -90% and call it a day as the
    vehicle is a driver.

I wish my pics had captured how wet looking the paint was. It was nuts but still had depth to it, unlike a lot of sealants. Overall I am very happy with the Gloss-it line so far. As a side note, i've had a chance to use the Quick detailer and tire gloss this week and both are very good. The Quick Detailer is probably one of the nicest I've ever used. It flashes off so fast that you're pushing it around the paint forever, waiting for it to dry.

    Thanks for looking.

Wow! that vehicle was nasty... Text Boon hard driven Canadian vehicle! However, you did a great job of turning it around. I was especially impressed with the improvements over the rusted areas. Great job Ken!

Ken that was an awesome turn around, good job with the chrome... Don't know what it's called but the chrome bumper on the front, looks brand new. I honestly, didn't even notice it had one until you posted the pictures of it all polished and what not. Great job! Glad to see you like the GI products as well.

Man what a turn around. Great job. I was hoping your customer was going to have you polish those wheels. That would make for some awesome B/A's. Nice work Ken.

Wow, this is definitely one of my favorite details you've done so far! What a transformation. It's a good thing for detailers these days that people aren't wanting to buy a new vehicle, and instead making their current one look as good as possible.

They asked, I refused. The wheels are spent. They need to be refinished. Why people buy polished aluminum wheels is beyond me. :shead:

If you take care of them, there the best looking wheel money can buy.IMO.
And your right those wheels would have cashed about 5-6 pads.LOL

It makes a huge difference in the playtime of polishes. It allows you enough time for the polishes to break down completely thus eliminating any possibility of holograms.
