We are having a problem with the schedule of the color dye process. They are telling us 8 weeks if we want to stick with blue. I just asked if we get another color can we get them quicker.

Another colour would be great as it seems all MFs are blue these days. Just not white.

We actually thought about no color (Natural) it is like a light beige. We have found that when there is no dye the fabric is softer. Waffle Weave Towels that are not dyed even work better.

Then beige it is. Now that we've settled that, how long?

I purchased the green CCS pads from e-shine but haven't used them yet, mostly because I don't know what the cut is in relation to the other CCS pads. I believe your web-site described them as a polishing/finishing pad. When I go to the Lake Country site, they describe them as a cutting pad with more bite than the white CCS pads.

There seems to be more than one type of green pad so maybe I'm just confusing myself. Is this green pad more or less aggressive than the white CCS pad?

    Thanks

It's more aggressive than the white.

It is "20%" more aggressive than the white pad, claims Proper Auto Care. Autogeek says it's good for AIO polishes.

There are two different green pads. The "German" green CCS pads have more bite to them than the normal green ones from Autogeek. I find the German ones have a more cut than the white whereas the AG ones are pretty much the same.

Thanks guys, that makes total sense. I think it was them using the term finishing with this pad, I wouldn't consider a white pad for finishing let alone one that has more bite.

Hahaha just teasing, as for the colour, I'm partial to blue...but to be honest I could care less what colour they are as long as they are soft :woo: :woo:

As for the time frame, good things are worth waiting for :thumb:

Will these lint as bad as the normal cookie monster? I have a ton of normal cookie monsters and they are honestly pretty useless now unfortunately.... after a season..

My microfibers that are older then the cookie monsters and have been washed the same over the past year don't lint.

If our current Cookie Monsters had major linting problems we would stop selling them immediately and work with the manufacturer. If the Cookie Monsters you received were linting we would have refunded your money, paid for return shipping then sent them to the manufacturer to solve the problem.

You can also provide more info such as washing conditions, products used to wash etc etc so we can look into any potential problems further.

Why would you have not contacted us about the problem instead of creating an anonymous username and ask such a question?

So i finally wanted to get into detailing my own and some friends' cars, and needed to get some tools and products of course. Being canadian, i naturally look for some canadian retailers. Luckily, i was able to find e-shine!

Well, after placing my order, i just wanted to note that i have had nothing but a great experience dealing with chris over at eshine. He went up and out of his way to make sure i was getting what i wanted, and also accomodate my requirements to the best of his ability. The prices are good as it gives a competitive edge for canadian orders vs ordering across the border in my opinion.

Got all of my stuff as expected, in decent time, and with some excellent packing to make sure everything made it ok.

All in all, i would most definately deal with eshine again(im sure you'll get some more orders from me sometime), thanks eshine!
