Favorite APC?

I've been using P21s TAW for a while but am looking to get some new APC, and can't decide which one to get. I see lots of folks using Megs, couple folks swear by Majestic Solution's Super Green Stuff (you know who you are!), and I've read some good things about Optimum's Power Clean (although it's a bit spendy). Just looking for some feedback. Thanks!!

 

I don't use APC as much as I used to but a good one that I would recommend would have to be eShines Kleen All (hope I got the name right). That thing is strong stuff, works great on just about anything. On tires it's just as good as ARO. Good stuff.

I've also used Meg's APC, went through a huge pail of it too :shrug:

 

My favorite is Autoglym Powermax3 although it is suited more for exteriors as they have a dedicated interior cleaner. I tried Poorboys APC this week and must say I like it quite a bit.

 

You already know what my vote is for!:thumb: Nothing I have used and I've used a ton of them can hold a candle to MS Super Green Stuff.

 

Pektel just sent me a sample of Power Clean and I can't wait to try it out. The only problem is my friggin car isn't dirty. (I guess that's a problem...) I just got a gallon of CG Sticky Gel, which really isn't a gel, but I plan to use that exclusively on wheels and tires. I suppose I'll use Power Clean on wheel wells and such.

I really like Megs APC, and APC+. I use APC for (green) for just about anything - paint, exterior, wheel cleaning, wheel wells, tires, and even interior. I like it's ability to foam up (when using a foam sprayer) and cling to the surface. I don't use it on carpet though, I prefer APC+, which doesn't foam. I also use APC+ on engines too. It's an awesome APC for your money.

Actually my favorite is megs APC.....i use it all over the place...

-stick it in my foam gun when i wanna strip any LSP off
- 4:1 on tires and wheel wells that are dirty as well as engines that arent too bad
-10:1 on interiors and wheeel wells and tires that arent too bad, clean my bathroom and many other surfaces around my house with it....it actually comes out cheaper than buying any of those so called high powered household cleaners and i think it smells PURDY.....

I like Megs APC+, LA's Totally Awesome, and TAW. I have Power Clean coming in tomorrow from Phil though

Wonder how Megs APC compares to MS green stuff... Any input from those that used both?

 

I used Kleenol today for the first time from eshine. I put it on my rims that had been caked on with salt and dirt from over a months worth of winter driving and it worked great, they came out super clean and shiny :applause: It's a great APC especially with how cheap it is at the moment

 

I prefer SGS by a considerable margin. I've got both of them in the garage. Since I started using SGS, I haven't used any of the Meguiar's stuff I have left, which is probably 3/4 gallon. I should probably sell it on here...

 

I pay enough shipping for all sorts of detailing supplies so I really wanted to find one that was good AND available locally. Al-53 turned me onto Zep APC available at H.D. It's great stuff. I've used it on everything from soaking mf's prior to wash, very dirty garage floor, tires, wheels and carpet...it does it all. They have a purple one which is great too, I have yet to try it. I have used the Citrus one for now and really like it.

 

I am definitely a Megs APC fan.

 

What made you switch? Does SGS foams up better? More concentrated? Smells more pleasant? Rinses easier?

 

I stopped by Majestic Solutions yesterday and pick up some Green Stuff but when I got home it was not the Super Green Stuff. What I got is an alkaline based cleaner (more like Meg's). I will try to get it exchanged. The Green Stuff is not listed on their web site. Their showroom is no bigger than a small bedroom. In addition to their own stuff, they did a lot of polishes in Meg's detailers line (105/205,80's series).
