Just wondering if other detail geeks have any other cool hobbies. I personally Collect Oakley sunglasses (the old ones, not the new chanel-tastic ones) I've got an actual Oakley display case in my room with 21 pairs of glasses! I used to be into paintball but i sold my ariakon marker so now i dont play much anymore. The Oakley Case!
Very cool Oakley display case! I had the Oakley Juliets with the Ruby lenses but they are at the bottom of a lake now after the boat hit a wake and they flew off my head Main hobby would be Poker! It's almost more than a hobby now, and more or less part of my normal routine, putting in 20-30 hours a week on top of my regular career. It's very lucrative, so I am not sure I can call it a hobby anymore. Other than that, I enjoy drag racing. Haven't done a lot of it lately after selling one my cars and my classic Nova getting totaled.
i have the ruby juliets, and the ruby pennys, just so i can have the set haha, that sucks about the lake, i would have dove in after them haha, but i guess im a lil crazy about my glasses, havent lost a pair yet!
im a wine nut... i spend all my free time looking up wines, reading about them, finding out col sotries... and every once in a while I will buy a fun one to taste
I have the Juliets in blue iridium,and the half jackets in orange. I lost my zeros in the lake..will NEVER wear Oakley's floating again. I'm still mad about losing those and that was almost twenty years ago lol.

I currently do not have any hobbies. Detailing full time takes up the majority of my time. Whether it be researching, working, paperwork, etc....... I rarely have time. I have my 2 Sons every other weekend, so I like to hang out with them, play in the back yard and such. I used to be into baseball cards YEARS AND YEARS ago. The hobby just sorta took a left turn and began to not be about the "fun of it". I stopped, sold the majority of my cards, and never looked back. I also used to put together models, something I have considered getting back into. It was a stress reliever. Also used to be into RC cars. (Back when I was younger) It was fun, but I just do not have the spare cash laying around to get back into it. All of my disposable income has been going to my 2 ex wives.... So yea, that's my current hobby... paying child support.....
I'm fairly big into home theater outside of detailing. I have 2 full 5.1 systems in my house, with a 3rd being added to my garage. Otherwise the kids consume a lot of time and I do some coaching for their sports teams. Oh, is drinking a hobby? I'm pretty good at that too!!!:drinking2:
Other than running my business, I hang out with the wife and kids and play hockey from Sept till April. Summer is just too damn busy to do anything but work. I haven't had my boat out in two years and I live 20 minutes from the lake.
Oh boy where to start. I used to be into RCs, but even at the age of 14 I grew out of it. Honestly, a lot of the people that were into it around my local track were a bunch of losers with jobs that support their RC addiction. Thats why I got out of it, it was huge fun, but I didn't want to have an endless money pit. I've mountain biked for the past 5 years and still do it. Did a snow-ride last winter that wasn't very successful. This summer I went to Crankworx in Whistler, BC and watched the competition. Then the last day, last run I broke my wrist... I also have been playing hockey for the past 9-10 years, obviously detailing, and I used to be into wake boarding. Gave up on that...
In no order, detailing, cars, fitness, dabble lightly in photography (mostly using friends equipment), boating, hunting (very rare that I get the chance), saxophone (15 yrs), and drawing. I would say the three hobbies that get the most attention from me would be fitness, cars, and detailing. Here are a couple of my past drawings:
Boating.....i am huge boating NUT....... heres my current Boat.... past Boats.... also into R/C in the winter when boating sux around here..... my current fleet minus one or two that have come since the pics.....big fun but lots of coin if you get too crazy....
