New additions to my collection

Ok so I've gotten a number of products here lately and just wanted to share some of my new additions. Well here they are:

Up first is some of the Tropi-Care line. I fell in love with the Tire Dressing as it looks so close to Swissvax Pneu that it's scary. Dust2Glory hooked me up with a sample and you can see what that turned into. He really hooked me up with a great order. There is a product in there called Cyrstal Black Carnuba Creme that I can't wait to try out this weekend. Its a blend of Carnuba wax and polymers for dark colors. Its different from what is on the website so I'll be trying that out. Got the Car wash, Leather and rubber dressing, leather conditioner, Sunburst Sealant XP, Natural Big Orange degreaser, and a foam applicator.



Next up is Part 1 of my order from Pirex. You see my beloved Scholl Concepts Polishes. I got the S03+, S30 (phenomenal to say the least), S40, and S17. I also got another black, blue and orange Scholl Concepts pad. All these polishes are incredible and I kicked all my Menzerna to the curb and went with the Scholl Concepts. I have another package coming from Pirex soon and I'll be sure to post up pics of that when I get it.



Next up was an order from Ben at Rubbish Boys. Got a lot of stuff from him and you see 2 of the Super Plush MFs. These things are so soft and thick. I unlike a lot of folks on here really love the super thick MFs. They really come in handy when using a QD on my Jet Black BMW. I also got the 75mm backing plate and have an M14 to 5/8ths adapter in it. I also got 2 75mm Rayon Fibre pads for polishing glass and metal. I got some other stuff that's not pictured like the finger applicators. Ben is great to deal with just like Pirex.



Next up is my Makita I bought off Ebay. Its used but in great condition. I've already put my 3M backing plate on it and look forward to the first whirl with it. Got this for $80 shipped.:applause2:



Finally a couple of products I got from a couple of members here. The Surf City Dash Away I got from autobahnshine and the 3M pads from SpecC.

I'm looking forward on seeing these products put to good use, although the Scholl products have been already been put to good use :thumb:

You'll love that small backing plate...ooh that reminds me I got some news about that small backing plate too...but I'll start another thread bout that..I'm terrible at highjacking other peoples threads :sorry:

 

Nice haul buddy. If my Scholl stuff doesn't show up soon, I'm gonna show up at your house for some samples! LOL

 

All this talk about Scholl really has me interested in it. Good pick ups!

The Makita was my fault. Ever since he tried mine, he's been hunting for them on eBay.

Keep us posted on the Tropi-Care stuff. I'd never heard of it until you started using it. I already know I'm going to try their tire dressing. The blue Mustang you did, where the tires looked like really clean tires like you see in a tire store...that got my attention.

So...how would you say Scholl S30 stacks up to Menzerna Power Finish? As you know, I'm completely in love with Power Finish. It's what you might call my "go to" polish these days.

 

Oh yeah that was your fault for sure. But now I have a Makita to go with the Metabo and all is right with the world. :applause2: The S30 is just as good as Power Finish to me. Its a close race but you also don't get the dusting with Scholl that you do with Menz. and I have yet to have a Scholl polish not cooperate regardless of the temp or humidity.

 

Some very nice things there JL! I've been on a "tire dressing" kick lately, been wanting some Zaino Z-16 but the Tropi-Care sounds promising. I think we have a local dealer here, might hit him up...

 

Nice purchases man!! I'm looking into getting a makita too! where would somebody in the US go to find one of the smaller UK backing plates? I use a makita at work but i want a smaller pad for the one i buy for home use (4-5 inch?) plus then i gotta get pads and polishes... curses. detailing is sucking the money right out of me!!

 

Very cool stuff. The Scholl stuff looks pretty cool. Definitely want to add the Makita to my collection as well.

Awesome haul there JL! I actually have a sample of the TC xP sealant but still haven't tried it yet, LoL. You love your Scholl products don't you? All your talk of Scholl has me interested in trying it. If you don't mind me asking, how much does shipping cost you for let's say for those four bottles you have in your picture? I hope the shipping isn't all that much.
