Well, brandie's (my gf) brother called me today and asked if i had time to do a shoot. I said sure of course. I was just going to do it in the alley behind their house because they wanted something "gangster" and edgy lol. But as we were about to shoot i saw there was going to be an amazing sunset. So we jumped in my car and flew to the lake. We got there just in the nick of time. Her brother is the one with Almanza on his back and those are his friends..they wanted Letterman jacket shots.

I really like how you get the guys so sharp with the blurred background. Looks fantastic.

Scott, are you shooting with an of camera strobe? Or is that static lighting that you are setting up? You seem to be favoring that setup... I like it. The few times I've tried it, I've had less then stellar results. I was shooting with a Speedlite 580EX II synced wireless to a 430EX.

    Great work!

What lighting did you use on the left side? Off camera slave flash?

hmm...I don't know, the pictures look good but for some reason the shadows don't appeal to me...why? I have no idea ...just too much shadows...the pictures still look good but the shadow's on the faces don't seem to go with me...nice background though, really like how the clouds look and the effect they give to the pictures :thumb:

Thanks for sharing keep them coming :thumb:
