I figured I would share some of my post holiday purchases which have just arrived. I got a few gift certs to various detail vendors and wanted to use them since there are just way too many good deals going on. This is my first order from Detailers Domain and Griot's Garage I have done. I am happy with both (its hard to buy since there are so many good vendors, I don't think I have bought from anyone twice yet in my 1.5 years of starting out detailing for my cars). I would like to give Phil a big thanks for the great service on the order and bonus 1z MPw/W. The orders were made to fill holes in my collection. I needed some good Leather cleaners and well as some rubber cleaners and the boars hair brush to add to my wash technique. Hi J Bell, To be honest I don't know. I am going to have to learn to use it. There is a chance I won't like it. Currently my hood has a hood scope and two vents. They are not perminiate in my hood, thus I have the crevasse and I really haven't cleaned them or they aren't being cleaned when I wash. I don't want to force my sheepskin mitt in there (or use a sponge) as I am sure I am going to mar the paint. My hope that areas like this will be a good area to use a BHB. I think I will use the same as my wash mitt. I spray foam via foam gun at the point which the wash medium is is contacting the car. I also use two buckets with my foam gun. I am sure I have an over complex wash process. chris
Chris, sounds good..i was just curious because if you go to autopia and search for SuperBee's wash method, he has an interesting tidbit that involves a BHB in which he feels it actually cuts down on the marring...it would be an interesting read for you
actually I am interested in trying BHB based off readings from both SuperBee and Accumulator. I am currently going to use a process more like Accumulators, but I will definitely be using there wisdom to learn how to add it to my washing procedures. Thanks for the feedback. chris
