New shop update #3

Been busy this week trying to get this shop all done. The snow is disappearing fast with the rain we're getting so I need to get back to work. I got the final coat of paint on, had a friend come in and install the casing and baseboards and I got the lights up. Just need to run water to the overhead door area and finish the stockroom. I think.

Gloves. Not just for hands anymore.


I couldn't get anyone to help with the light install so....


Ta Da!! With the rubber on the palm of the glove, the 2x4 wouldn't slide out.


Both fixtures are T8 flourescents, but bulbs are different.


The brighter bulbs are 850s.


The warmer looking ones are 841s.


The floor is ugly, but I'm undecided what to do. If I buy the building this year, I'll be tearing everything out so don't want to spend a bunch on a nice floor quite yet.

Great looking place, and a nice cozy spot to take a shite! A nice addition!

 

The room to the left of the washroom is for the product / supplies I use daily. Its getting all racked out, laundry tub and washer/dryer. I've been looking for something to put in the bay but haven't found anything yet. ( Within a reasonable budget.)

 

Looks awesome Ken. I just met with an electrician today about l lighting in my 3 car garage. I am going with 9 banks of t8's

As for the floor, I wouldn't spend too much on the floor as it sounds like you might be tearing it up in due time. I would just leave it the way it is...sure it wont look as good but heck if you might be tearing it up why waist money..just me though.
