Well, I always have my AC on (especially living in Louisiana) and the other day I noticed the air coming out of the vents started to smell kind of not so fresh. So, I decided to change my cabin air filter. The car currently has 16.7k miles on it. Please dont mind the engine bay sand, as I went to the beach a few weeks ago and havent got around to detailing the engine. I'll do that tomorrow. I removed the cabin filter and man that thing was nasty. I sprayed 1Z Einszett Klima-Cleaner in the area that the filter covers and in the vents within the vehicle. I used about a third of the can total. The smell is great, although it is only going to last about 12 hours. Thats fine with me though, as long as it kills the smell. Here are some pics:
Nice review! So, do you really like the product? Is it worth the money it costs??? By the way, that filter is very dirty...
I also have this product, though I have never used it. I heard you can get 2 applications from one bottle.
I liked it. The smell is plesant and so far ahs done its job. It was only about 10 dollars. I think most 00+ cars have them. Thanks!
I've noticed that german products aren't cheap, but they are well worth the price when it comes to your own vehicle...not for bulk detailing though...
I recently received this Klima cleaner as part of my Xmas goody pack. I've been meaning to do this to my '05 Taurus and '97 E300 MB. - When do you know how much to spray? On the bottle is states to spray the entire bottle into the vent. Other's have posted they've been able to use it on up to 3 vehicles. I keep the car pretty clean by most standards but would like to concentrate my efforts on the Taurus since it's my daily driver. I don't have a center vent like on my MB, but 2 separate vents off-centered on each side of the center radio console. I assume either vent is safe to unload the wrath of cleaning agents from the bottle?
I used this stuff on mine and in my girlfriends Camry. Definitely brought everything back to normal. Smell might be overpowering for a couple days but its worth it in the end
