Well when the unit is full of water (by the way make sure you use good quality water, like Reverse Osmosis water, it's better on the machine in the long run) and fully assembled the unit can be some what heavy but not overly heavy that you can't lug it around. I have a beat up, rust bucket Jeep Cherokee that I haul all my detailing supplies in when needed and the steamer along with the rest of my products fit in it no problem. It wont stand up but I put it an angle and it fits no problem. Hope this helps.
